Handmade Inlay and Wood Baule Necklace Jade Pendant

Hand-knotted, highly skilled, labor-intensive carved Baule hardwood beads from Côte d’Ivoire, each inlaid with white bone or shell in alternating black-and-white polka dot patterns. These commonly represent balance, harmony, duality, and the relationship between opposing forces. The repeated circles symbolize unity, continuity, and the cyclical nature of life. The black jade pendant is inspired by China’s Neolithic Hongshan culture. The two red focal beads are handmade terracotta beads.
