Hand knotted Raku beads made by an extraodinary Raku ceramiscist in England together with a shard of excavated Roman glass and artisan clasp. Traditional Japanese Raku is pottery that is taken from the kiln while red hot and put together with combustible materials. Lampworking and Raku are an expert contemporary fusion of these two complicated processes that create highly unique effects.
