Handmade antique glass beads made by the extraordinary Ventian Glass Guilds pairs beautifully with a very handsome handcrafted antique Berber silver and enamel amulet called a “hirz”. The Arabic word “hirz” means protection. These beautiful amulets were typically crafted by Berber silversmiths in rural Morocco. It was intended to be worn as a amulet to guard the wearer against evil spirits, illness, misfortune, dangers during travel and personal fears or uncertainties.
